Abstract

This paper examines changes that the Swedish, German and Japanese production
systems are currently undertaking. It argues that new economic and socio-institutional
contextual conditions worldwide together with domestic events are influencing a piece- meal
changes at the heart of the Swedish, German and Japanese production Systems. Implications
for Brazilian industry are discussed.
